SUMMARY:The Green Fair
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Marsh and Ham for our fourth annual Green Fair\, celebrating all things ecological and sustainable. This year’s fair has moved from its previous position at the Railway Arches to this more central site\, and thanks to Blandford Town Council there will be free parking in the town’s main car parks \nExhibitors will include nature and wildlife charities\, local  environmental charities\, producers of vegetarian and vegan food and drink\, cosmetics and gifts\, refilling businesses\, and other ecofriendly products. There will be live music as well as activities for children and information from organisations tackling climate change. \nWondering what it’s all about? SUMMARY:BFG Talk: Learning to Love Garden Moths
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite everyone to the first talk of the newly-formed Blandford Forum Gardeners group (BFG)\, formerly known as the Blandford Horticultural Society. \nMartin Devine developed an interest in moths in 2017\, building on several years of conducting butterfly transects. In creating this interest\, it became clear that not all moths are brown\, and they have a special place in our gardens. \nEntrance to the talk is £3\, this includes a coffee or tea and a piece of cake.

SUMMARY:Fundraiser: From Me to Brew
DESCRIPTION:Blandford Museum is very pleased to host a fundraising event in the Victorian Garden to support the cancer charity “From Me to You”. \nFrom Me to You was founded by Alison Hitchcock and Brian Greenley\, relative strangers who discovered a new kind of connection and hope in the form of letters. Through letter writing workshops\, the Donate A Letter programme\, and hints & tips on how to reach out to your family and friends\, the charity’s aim is to reduce the social isolation and loneliness so often associated with cancer. \n“From Me to Brew” is a countrywide fundraiser\, encouraging people to gather together\, drink tea and eat cake.
