East Street Research “Open Day”

Members of the Blandford Museum Research team are documenting the history of East Street, using information from published records, local museums and archives as well as personal recollections. At this Open Day, we will show the information we have already collected and invite you to bring any information you may be able to add. Refreshments will be available.

We are especially interested in talking to anyone who lived in Blandford during and since the 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s about the families, people, businesses and life in Blandford, not just East Street. Photographs and other documents are particularly welcome.Everyone has a story to tell and this is an opportunity to capture those memories.
