In our shop, you will find souvenirs of your visit to the museum as well as local crafts and produce. Our Victorian Garden Group members produce homemade jams and chutneys and there are always plants for sale at very reasonable prices.
We are in the process of moving to a waste-free shop and particularly try to carry environmentally friendly gifts.
We are also working with local craftspeople to display their work in the shop to make it a real hub of the community. Local artists supply most of our cards, and the museum produces numerous booklets on topics related to Blandford. So, if you are looking for that special gift, drop in to see us – we may have exactly what you want.
If you are a local craftsperson and would like to use the museum shop as a showcase, please contact us by phone or email.
The museum is available for hire on Wednesdays or in the evenings, offering a unique setting for your corporate or social event. We can accomodate 20-30 people depending on the layout and facilities that you need. We have computer projection facilities and a small kitchen area that can be used to prepare refreshments. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
