“Fire Dress Project” launch

In their new Community Textile Project, the “Blandford in Stitches” Group is creating the Fire Dress. In the style worn by an upper-class Englishwoman in the 1730’s, the dress will be embroidered to depict the impact of the Great Fire on the Blandford townscape. This open meeting will introduce the project and decide when and where future meetings will be held.
