People’s Emergency Briefing: film and discussion

Blandford Environmental Trust logoBlandford Museum Civic and Sustainability Group and The Blandford Environmental Trust will present this new film from the National Emergency Briefing – a public information initiative to ensure that the UK is fully briefed on the climate and nature crisis.

This 45-minute film, and the discussion to follow, will look at the ways in which we can act now to offset the consequences of Global Climate Change. This is a step on the pathway to action:

Phase 1: National Emergency Briefing, 27 November 2025 High-level briefing to 1200 MPs and other influential people All aspects of the interconnected climate and nature crisis How it affects British life Constituents share content with MPs Ask MP to back the call for a televised emergency briefing Phase 2: Film watched in communities across the UK Attended by councils and other institutions, organisations and public figures Keep building MP support for a televised briefing Government briefs the nation Genie out of the bottle Break out of business-as-usual Launch a bold, ambitious national project
